    ICC World Cup 2023 : ICCએ ODI વર્લ્ડ કપનું શેડ્યૂલ જાહેર કર્યું, 8 ઑક્ટોબરે ભારતની પ્રથમ મેચ

    ભારતની પ્રથમ મેચ 8 ઓક્ટોબરે ચેન્નાઈના મેદાન પર ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયા સાથે થશે.

    ICC એ ODI વર્લ્ડ કપ 2023નું શેડ્યૂલ જાહેર કર્યું છે. આ ટુર્નામેન્ટ ભારતમાં 5 ઓક્ટોબરથી 19 નવેમ્બર સુધી રમાશે. પ્રથમ મેચ ઈંગ્લેન્ડ અને ન્યુઝીલેન્ડ વચ્ચે રમાશે. આ બંને ટીમો 2019 વર્લ્ડ કપની ફાઇનલમાં આમને-સામને હતી. આ બંને ટીમો ટૂર્નામેન્ટની પ્રથમ મેચ 5 ઓક્ટોબરે અમદાવાદના નરેન્દ્ર મોદી સ્ટેડિયમમાં રમશે. તે જ સમયે, ભારતની પ્રથમ મેચ 8 ઓક્ટોબરે ચેન્નાઈના મેદાન પર ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયા સાથે થશે. ડ્રાફ્ટ શેડ્યૂલમાં કોઈ મોટો ફેરફાર કરવામાં આવ્યો નથી અને ભારત 15 ઓક્ટોબરે અમદાવાદના મેદાન પર પાકિસ્તાન સામે રમશે.

    આ વર્લ્ડ કપમાં કુલ 10 ટીમો ભાગ લેશે. ટૂર્નામેન્ટ માટે આઠ ટીમો પહેલેથી જ ક્વોલિફાય થઈ ચૂકી છે અને બાકીના બે સ્થાનો પર ઝિમ્બાબ્વેમાં ક્વોલિફાયર રાઉન્ડ સાથે રમાઈ રહી છે, જેમાં છ ટીમો સુપર સિક્સમાં જગ્યા બનાવી રહી છે. આમાંથી બે ટીમ ભારતમાં યોજાનાર વર્લ્ડ કપના મુખ્ય રાઉન્ડમાં ભાગ લેશે. હાલમાં, પ્રથમ બે વર્લ્ડ કપ જીતનાર વેસ્ટ ઈન્ડિઝની ટીમ આ વર્લ્ડ કપમાંથી બહાર થવાની અણી પર છે. શ્રીલંકા અને ઝિમ્બાબ્વેની મુખ્ય રાઉન્ડમાં રમવાની સૌથી વધુ તકો છે. વિશ્વમાં સામેલ થવાની બાકીની બે ટીમો પણ 9 જુલાઈએ નક્કી થશે. આ વર્લ્ડ કપમાં તમામ ટીમો અન્ય નવ ટીમો સાથે રાઉન્ડ રોબિન ફોર્મેટમાં રમશે. તેમાંથી, પોઈન્ટ ટેબલમાં ટોચની ચાર ટીમો સેમિફાઈનલ માટે ક્વોલિફાય થશે અને વિજેતા ટીમો ફાઇનલમાં ટકરાશે.
