સુરત મોટા વરાછા વિસ્તારમાં ધોરણ-૬ની વિદ્યાર્થિની સાથે શારીરિક છેડછાડ કરવામાં આવી હતી. રત્ન કલાકાર તરીકે કામ કરતા આધેડ વયના વ્યક્તિએ કૃત્ય કર્યું હતું. ઘભરાયેલી વિદ્યાર્થિનીએ પરિવારને જાણ કરી હતી. પોલીસ પાસે પરિવારે ફરિયાદ કરતાં પોલીસે આરોપીને ઝડપી લઈને કાયદેસરની કાર્યવાહી હાથ ધરી છે.
આ ઘટના વિશે મળતી માહિતી પ્રમાણે, રત્ન કલાકાર તરીકે કામ કરતા આધેડ વયના વ્યક્તિએ ટ્યુશને જતી વિદ્યાર્થીનીને અશ્લિલ ફોટા બતાવી ગંદા ઈશારા કરી શારીરિક છેડતી કરવામાં આવતી હતી. સગીર વયની વિદ્યાર્થિનીનો પીછો કરી પોતાની મોટરસાયકલ પર બેસી જવા દબાણ કરતો હતો. આ વ્યક્તિથી હેરાન પરેશાન વિદ્યાર્થીનીએ સમગ્ર બાબત પરિવારને કરતા મામલો સામે આવ્યો હતો.
પરિવારે ઉત્રાણ પોલીસ મથકમાં ફરિયાદ આપતા પોલીસે અજાણ્યા આધેડ વિરુદ્ધ ગુનો દાખલ કરી તપાસ હાથ ધરી હતી. સીસીટીવી (CCTV) ફૂટેજના આધારે પોલીસે રત્ન કલાકાર સામે કાર્યવાહી ધરી હતી. સીસીટીવી ફૂટેજના આધારે પોલીસે રત્ન કલાકાર અરવિંદ નાકરાણીની ધરપકડ કરી છે.
