IPL (ઈન્ડિયન પ્રીમિયર લીગ) 2021ના બીજા તબક્કાનું આયોજન હવે યુએઈમાં થશે. શનિવારે બોર્ડ ઓફ કંટ્રોલ ફોર ક્રિકેટ ઈન ઈન્ડિયા (BCCI) એસજીએમ ખાતે આ નિર્ણય લેવામાં આવ્યો હતો. BCCIના ઉપપ્રમુખ રાજીવ શુક્લાએ આ વાતની પુષ્ટિ કરી છે. જણાવી દઈએ કે, IPL- 2021ની ટુર્નામેન્ટ કોરોનાને કારણે 4 મેના રોજ સ્થગિત કરવામાં આવી હતી. IPL-2021ના પ્રથમ તબક્કામાં 29 મેચો થઈ હતી. જો કે, હવે બાકીની 31 મેચ સંયુક્ત અરબ અમીરાતમાં રમાશે. સપ્ટેમ્બર અને ઓક્ટોબરમાં ખરાબ હવામાનની અપેક્ષા રાખતા બીસીસીઆઈએ ટી 20 લીગને યુએઈમાં સ્થળાંતર કરવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો છે. યુએઈમાં આઈપીએલ 2021ની બાકીની મેચ 19 અથવા 20 સપ્ટેમ્બર સુધી યોજાઈ શકે છે, ફાઈનલ મેચ 10 ઓક્ટોબરના રોજ યુએઈમાં રમાશે.
