    મોડાસામાં વીજ વિભાગનો મોટો છબરડો સામે આવ્યો છે. મોડાસાનાં એક શ્રમિક સિરાજભાઇ શેખનાં ઘરમાં એક પંખો અને એક ટ્યુબ લાઇટ છે છતાં તેમના ઘરનું વીજ બિલ ૬.૩૨ લાખ રૂપિયા આવ્યું છે. મોડાસામાં એલાયન્લ નગરમાં રહેતા પરિવારે જ્યારે આ બિલ જાેયું તો તેમના પગ નીચેથી જમીન સરકી ગઇ હતી. વિજ વિભાગની બેદરકારીને કારણે આ શ્રમિક પરિવારમાં ચિંતા વ્યાપી છે કે, હવે શું કરીશું? હાલ આ મુદ્દો આખા પંથકમાં ચર્ચાનો વિષય બન્યો છે.
    આ અંગે મળતી માહિતી પ્રમાણે મોડાસાનાં એલાયન્સ નગરમાં રહેતા શ્રમજીવી સિરાજ શેખને ત્યાં અત્યાર સુધી ૩૦૦થી ૪૦૦ રૂપિયા વીજ બિલ આવતું હતું. પરંતુ આ મહિને અચાનક ૬.૩૨ લાખ રૂપિયા વીજ બિલ પોતાના નામે આવેલું જાેઇને આંખો પણ ફાટી ગઇ હતી.


    તેમના ઘરમાં એક પંખો અને ટ્યુબ લાઇટ જ છે. તો પણ આટલું બધું બિલ આવતા તેઓ ચિંતામાં મુકાઇ ગયા હતાં. આ પરિવાર એક રૂમમાં જ રહે છે.
    આ અંગે સિરાજભાઇ શેખનાં જણાવ્યા પ્રમાણે, અત્યાર સુધી મારું લાઇટ બિલ આટલું બધું આવ્યું નથી. અમારે ૩૦૦-૪૦૦ લાઇટ બિલ આવતું હતું પરંતુ અત્યારે ૬ લાખ અને ૩૨ હજાર રુપિયા લાઇટ બિલ આવ્યું છે. હું કોઇ મિલ માલિક નથી. મારા ઘરમાં પંખા અને લાઇટ સિવાય કાંઇ ફરતું નથી. તો આટલું બિલ આવ્યું ક્યાંથી?
    થોડા મહિનાઓ પહેલા અંકલેશ્વરના હસ્તી તળાવ વિસ્તારમાં પણ આવો જ એક છબરડો સામે આવ્યો હતો. માતૃ હર સલૂન નામના વાળંદની દુકાનનું બિલ ૫.૭૦ લાખ આવ્યું હતું. જેના કારણે દુકાન ધારક ગણેશ વાળંદને હાર્ટ એટેક આવે તેવી પરિસ્થિતિ ઉદ્દભવી છે. એક વ્યક્તિની દાઢી કરી ૩૦ થી ૫૦ રૂપિયા મેળવતા સલૂન સંચાલકને મહિનાએ સરેરાશ ૧૦થી ૧૨ હજાર રૂપિયાનું બિલ આવતું હોય છે. જે વચ્ચે વીજ નિગમએ વીજ બિલ આપતા તેવો જાેઈ પણ ચોકી ઉઠ્યા હતા એક બે હજાર રૂપિયા બિલ નહિ પણ પુરા ૫.૭૦ લાખ ઉપરાંતનું વીજ બિલ ભટકાયું હતું.
